Male Procedures
Gynecomastia Surgery (Male Boobs) — surgical chest contouring for a flatter, masculine profile.
Le Pearl Aesthetics offers dedicated surgical procedures tailored to the specific aesthetic and functional needs of male patients. Gynecomastia Surgery addresses the enlargement of male breast tissue — a condition affecting up to 40% of men and caused by hormonal imbalance, weight gain, medications, or genetics. Dr. Khuram Malik MBBS, FCPS Surgery performs gynecomastia correction through glandular tissue excision, liposuction, or a combination of both, depending on the grade of the condition. The result is a flatter, firmer, and more masculine chest contour with discreet incisions and a transformative impact on self-confidence. All male procedures are performed in a confidential, professional, and accredited surgical environment.

How It Works
From your initial consultation to your final review appointment, we guide you through every step with care and transparency.
Surgical Consultation
Dr. Khuram Malik examines the chest, grades the gynecomastia (I–IV), reviews your medical history, and determines the appropriate surgical technique — excision, liposuction, or a combined approach.
Surgery
The procedure is performed under general or local anaesthesia with sedation. Glandular tissue is excised through a periareolar incision, with liposuction used as required to contour the surrounding chest area.
Recovery
A compression vest is worn for 4–6 weeks. Swelling resolves progressively over 6–12 weeks, revealing the final flat, contoured result. Most patients return to desk work within 5–7 days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Below are the most common questions our clients ask about Male Procedures. Don't see your question? Contact us for a free consultation.
Gynecomastia is caused by an imbalance between oestrogen and testosterone. Triggers include puberty, obesity, anabolic steroid use, certain medications (e.g. antihypertensives, antidepressants), and underlying hormonal conditions. A blood test may be recommended before surgery.
Incisions are placed at the lower border of the areola, where they heal into a near-invisible fine line that blends with the natural colour transition of the areola. Liposuction entry points are tiny puncture marks that fade completely.
Surgically removed glandular tissue does not regenerate. However, significant weight gain or resumption of the causative medication/substances can cause recurrence. Maintaining a stable lifestyle protects results long-term.
Initial swelling resolves within 4–6 weeks. The final, fully settled result is visible at 3–6 months once all deeper swelling has subsided and the chest skin has fully conformed to its new contour.
